Since version 1.3, X-Arc is able to launch installer scripts within the program.
First of all, you need to check to have the installer support enabled, in the
prefs/installer section.
If you have the support enabled, when loading an archive, X-Arc will automatically
checks if it can find one or more installer scripts inside of it. If it finds one or
more scripts, the Install button in the toolbar will be unghosted.
Once you've loaded an archive with one or more scripts inside, there are two ways to launch them:
You can browse through the subdirectories until you find a file marked with an disk-icon.
That icon means that the file has been recognised as an installer script. By double clicking on it,
all the files of the archive will be unpacked in a temporary directory (see prefs/installer for more information)
and then the script will be run.
Otherwise you can simply press on the Install button in the toolbar of the main window. If just one
installer script was found in the archive, it will be runned, otherwise X-Arc will ask you which of the found scripts
you want to execute. Once selected, the installation will be runned as described above.
